How to make mesquite using a Pour Over
Step-by-step
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 1-3 heaped teaspoons of Mesquite per cup of water

Preheat water to 205°F. Rinse the filter with hot water and empty it out, leaving the filter in the pour over.

Use 1-3 heaped teaspoons of mesquite per serving. You can play around with the amount of mesquite and water to your liking!

Pour hot water until the grounds are saturated. Wait 45 seconds allowing the grounds to bloom.

Add the remaining water in a spiral motion.

Let your mesquite brew, adding more water as needed.

Other ways to make mesquite
French Press
Depending on desired strength, put 3-4 heaping tablespoons of grounds into the French Press. Pour 1.5c of hot water over and let steep for 3 minutes. Plunge and serve.

Fill portafilter with 1.5 tblsp of grounds (roughly 3/4 full). Do not tamp. Extract espresso like normal.
